Parker takes a bullet in the shoulder, which causes her to drop Hardison. He lands in a heap of broken bones at the bottom of the shaft with Parker crying for Eliot to come help. He rushes to their aide but in the final escape, he takes a couple of bullets to the chest. Camera flip and there’s Hardison and Eliot flanking a slick and professional looking Parker who recites a very familiar speech. The only fly in the ointment really was Nate and his jumping to the wrong conclusions about the client wanting money.
Then again, the episode’s overall message was about listening, so I guess someone had to not listen for the story to really hit home. Speaking of Hardison, things are going romantically well for him and Parker, as the duo are officially dating. Hardison's excited about the brewery, and Parker is suggesting names for their own signature beer. The team cons the unscrupulous Roemer into thinking he has a chance to steal Hughes famous Spruce Goose mega-plane, but after he seemingly takes the bait, he comes to realize all is not as it seems.
I think what you'll see this season is, instead of there being as it was in the past, a conflict between the two of them on whether or not they're going to work it out as a couple, is that they really have come together as a couple and as working partners. I wish I could be as enthusiastic about the bonus features with the set, but it looks as if fans will be getting a real hodgepodge of extras. Some of the extras we’ve come to know and love with Blu-ray sets, including deleted scenes, audio commentary, and a gag reel. However, there will only be two commentaries available for a 13-episode set, and some of the other extras just look weird. Maybe it’s just me, though.
